Tulalip

The Tulalip (pronounced Tuh’-lay-lup) Tribes, successors in interest to the Snohomish, Snoqualmie, Skykomish, and other allied tribes and bands signatory to the 1855 Treaty of Point Elliott. Our tribal population is over 4,800 and growing, with 2,600 members residing on the 22,000 acre Tulalip Indian Reservation located north of Everett and the Snohomish River and west of Marysville, Washington.

Hibulb Cultural Center & Natural History Preserve [7]

• The Hibulb Cultural Center and Natural History Preserve mission is to revive, restore, protect, interpret, collect and enhance the history, traditional cultural values and spiritual beliefs of the Tulalip Tribes who are the successors in interest to the Snohomish, Snoqualmie and Skykomish tribes and other tribes and bands signatory to the Treaty of Point Elliott.

• Tulalip TERO was created to enforce and ensure workforce protection, preferential employment and contracting rights for Native Americans. As well as assist and refer clients for education, training and services to succeed and enhance their careers and economic opportunities.

Boys and Girls Club [15]

• The Tulalip Boys and Girls Club promotes the health, social, educational, vocational, and character development of boys and girls. Through before and after school programs, it aims to help young people improve their lives by building self-esteem, developing values, and teaching skills during critical periods of growth.

Homeless Shelter [16]

• Wrap around case management to our clients as well as their barriers that are keeping them from obtaining or keeping permanent housing.

Legacy of Healing: Advocacy Center and Safe House [17]

• To promote a safe, healthy and non-violent community for non-offending tribal members and their families by providing education, survivor advocacy and accountability through a coordinated community response. The Legacy of Healing program services include: civil and legal advocacy for adult victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence and stalking, emergency housing, out-reach, education, counseling, groups, teen dating violence education and transitional housing services.
