Civil Survival

  • Educate. Motivate. Liberate. The Civil Survival Workshops offer hope as well as a sense of community and purpose for returning citizens. Formerly incarcerated individuals are often isolated and hopeless. In our Civil Survival Workshops, formerly incarcerated individuals form bonds born of organizing for a cause bigger than themselves. The ongoing Game-Changer Groups are led by formerly incarcerated people and are designed to keep participants engaged in their community and constantly learning more about issues that interfere with their ability to re-engage in society.
