Educate. Motivate. Liberate. The Civil Survival Workshops offer hope as well as a sense of community and purpose for returning citizens. Formerly incarcerated individuals are often isolated and hopeless. In our Civil Survival Workshops, formerly incarcerated individuals form bonds born of organizing for a cause bigger than themselves. The ongoing Game-Changer Groups are led by formerly incarcerated people and are designed to keep participants engaged in their community and constantly learning more about issues that interfere with their ability to re-engage in society.

I Did the Time recognizes that individuals with arrest and conviction records are unfairly discriminated against when seeking housing and employment, and hopes to prevent this unfair treatment by educating legislators using real-life stories of rehabilitation and struggle. For many years, Columbia Legal Services has represented communities facing poverty and oppression, and we use every legal tool available on their behalf. We have a special responsibility to serve people whose access to free legal services is restricted, due to institutionalized or immigration status. We share a deep commitment to serve and advocate alongside our clients as we seek justice together. Our role to serve people and use advocacy that might otherwise not be available makes our work an integral part of the Washington Alliance for Equal Justice.

F.I.G.H.T. is an organization that assists, advises, and councils men and women of Asian Pacific Islander descent who are currently incarcerated or have been released. F.I.G.H.T. is also highly active in the advocacy of preventing deportation among our people and people of other ethnicity.

We are a private non-profit organization that protects the rights of people with disabilities statewide. Our mission is to advance the dignity, equality, and self-determination of people with disabilities. We pursue justice on matters related to human and legal rights.
Amplifying Voices of Inmates with Disabilities (AVID)[11]
- AVID focuses on improving conditions, treatment, services, and reentry for people with disabilities who are incarcerated in our state’s jails and prisons, as well as those who reside at the Special Commitment Center.
