Due to the low volume of people reentering to Island County ILS staff has not researched reentry resources for every location. If you require resources for Island County please contact Library staff for assistance locating information.

Opportunity Council

  • The Opportunity Council is a private, non-profit Community Action Agency serving homeless and low-income families and individuals. Our goal is to help people learn to become self-sufficient. For 50 years we have offered a broad scope of services that range from addressing immediate and crisis-oriented needs (food, emergency shelter, eviction-prevention) to longer-term programs that promote self-sufficiency in our community (early childhood education, home weatherization).

Compass Health

  • We offer a wide-range of behavioral health services for clients of all ages in Snohomish, Skagit, Island, San Juan, and Whatcom counties. Compass Health arranges interpreter services when needed at no cost to the client.
