Notes

  • film evaluation notes 1892-08-02 1894-08-30: generally clear, in focus images. Some slight distortion in the "gutter" area, but not much information loss. Targets throughout. Some faded images, but the majority have good contrast.
  • film eval notes 1894-09-01 1897-10-29: a few images are dark and a few are light, but generally everything is in focus and legible. Targets noting damage, missing issues, etc, are present and lighting looks even. Both the weekly edition and tri-weekly edition are present. Pages are very dark in Jan-Mar, June , Aug 1895 for Snohomish Tribune triweekly.
  • film eval notes 1895-01-04 1897-10-29: images are generally infocus with good contrast. Some images are light; all damaged/dim images have targets.
  • film eval notes 1903-09-25 1906-07-13: images comparable in quality to other reels
