Heuterman p 32: Yakima Publishing company (CP Wilcox, EH Libby, WH Wilcox, George N Tuesley) published the Yakima Republic and the Ranch, which "first came off the Herald press January 18, 1894."
  • There is a lot about the history of this paper in Heuterman's thesis.

newspaper-like, covers the farming industry across the state with backfiles for 1894, and 1897-1914 on 8 reels for a total of 5,050 pages (if I'm reading the paperwork on it correctly). Published in Seattle on a biweekly-then-weekly basis, on newsprint, excellent clarity, tabloid size - gpearson, 2008/09/30 16:01
